After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Our first stop will be at Pashupatinath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage destinations in the world. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Next, we will visit Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple due to the large number of monkeys that reside there.
This ancient temple complex is a fusion of Hinduism and Buddhism and features a magnificent stupa with the watchful eyes of Buddha on all four sides.We will then proceed to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a sacred site for Buddhists.
It is a must-visit destination in Kathmandu where visitors can immerse themselves in the spiritual and mystical atmosphere of the Himalayas. Surrounded by small shops, the stupa offers a unique blend of Buddhist spirituality and local culture.
In the afternoon, we will visit Durbar Square, the historical seat of royalty and a symbol of religious life and culture in Nepal.
The square features ancient temples, palaces, and monuments that showcase the rich heritage of the Nepalese people. It is here that the kings of Nepal were crowned and celebrated their coronations. Visitors can also explore the Numismatic Museum and the Tribhuvan Museum located inside the Hanuman Dhoka Palace building.
After a full day of sightseeing, we will return to our hotel for an overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, we will proceed to Nagarkot, which is situated 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu and is known for its picturesque views.
Bhaktapur district is home to Nagarkot and visitors often spend the night here to witness the stunning sunrise over the Himalayas.
When the skies are clear, the view of the Himalayas is breathtaking, including the impressive Mount Everest, making Nagarkot one of the best places to view these snow-capped peaks in the eastern Nepal Himalayas.
After enjoying the scenic beauty of Nagarkot, we will return to our hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
In the morning transfer to the airport to take your flight to Delhi. Arrival Delhi. You will meet the Vimla India tours’ representative and transfer to your hotel. Hotel accommodation and stay overnight.
After breakfast, proceed with Delhi sightseeing tour with first visit to the Jama Masjid - the largest Mosque in India. Visit Chandni Chowk oldest, biggest bazaar of Old Delhi. Later, walk up to Fatehpuri Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride till Red Fort. Here our driver will meet you, drive past Red Fort (a 17th century historical fort in Delhi) and reach Rajghat, a memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
An eternal flame burns on one side of this memorial. Visit the Humayun Tomb - first garden-style tomb of India. The main highlight of this tomb, inspired by Persian architecture, is the four garden squares with water passage channels surrounding the tomb. Drive past RashtrapatiBhawan - residence of the President of India and India Gate - an archway built in honor of the soldiers who died in World War I. Visit QutubMinar built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in 1193 to mark the beginning of Muslim rule in India.Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
In the morning, we will travel to Jaipur, also known as the Pink City and the capital of Rajasthan. This city is known for its captivating architecture and design.After check-in at the hotel, we will attend a ceremony at the Birla Mandir, also known as the LakshmiNarayan Temple. The temple is dedicated to the Hindugoddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu (Narayan).Constructed solely of white marble, it was built in1988 by the B.M. Birla Foundation. We will spend the night in the hotel.
After having breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Start by visiting the Amer Fort, which dates back to the 16th century and features private halls, pavilions, former private chambers of the King, and royal Rajput women.
The reflection of the fort on the Maota Lake is breathtaking, and you can enjoy a Jeep ride here. Next, explore the City Palace, which consists of former private and public chambers, silver vessels, courtyards, gateways, and private chambers of the King, among other attractions.
Later, head to Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that houses the World's Largest Sundial - Samrat Yantra. Lastly, visit the Hawa Mahal, a five-storey palace built during Rajput rule in 1799. It is famous for its intricately-designed 953 windows adorned with spectacular latticework. In the afternoon, you can explore the famous markets of textiles, gems, carpets, and handicrafts. Despite its short-lived existence as the Mughal capital, Fatehpur Sikri offers glimpses of stunning monuments built during the reign of the Mughals in India. The Buland Darwaza, the gateway to this city, is one of the major attractions here as it is said to be the highest gateway in the world. After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, continue your drive to Agra.
On arrival in Agra, check-in at the hotel. The city's historical origins before the Mughal conquest are uncertain, but it was practically founded by the Mughal Emperor Babur.
