With this package, you can visit three of Nepal’s largest cities. The tour begins with a visit to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, which boasts of seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites and fascinating historical artifacts. From there, you can proceed to Chitwan, which is home to a wide range of rare plants and animals. While there, you can explore the Chitwan National Park, Tharu Village, and participate in various adventurous activities. Finally, you will arrive in Pokhara, the lake city of Nepal and the country’s busiest tourist destination, which attracts thousands of tourists each year due to its beauty and interesting locations to see.
Arriving in Kathmandu , you will be welcomed by the Vimla India tours’ Representative who will take you to your hotel. He will brief you about the tour and handover the travel documents. Night stay at the hotel.
Our sightseeing tour will commence after breakfast. We will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide to show us around. During this tour, we will visit the following World Heritage Sites:
1. Swayambhunath Stupa - The Monkey Temple: This temple is situated on a hillock on the western side of the valley. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley. Swayambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple due to the numerous monkeys residing on its premises.
2. Pashupatinath Temple: This temple, situated on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu, is one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal. The temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati River and is dedicated to the god Shiva.
3. Boudhanath Stupa: This is a 2500-year-old Buddhist stupa located in the valley and built in the 5th century. The stupa has four pairs of Lord Buddha's eyes in the four cardinal directions, keeping a watchful eye over the people and their actions. You will see Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa, spinning the prayer wheels.
4. Patan Durbar Square: This square is located in the central part of the city of Lalitpur and showcases the Newari architecture that had reached its zenith during the reign of the Malla kings, who were great patrons of the arts and builders. We will spend the night at the hotel
Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by a hotel representative, who will provide us with the schedule of the activities we will be doing during our stay in Chitwan.
Some of the activities in Chitwan include a tour of Tharu village and the park visitor center, followed by lunch. In the evening, we will enjoy a sunset view from the Rapti River, followed by dinner and a cultural program. We will spend the night at the hotel in Chitwan.
This day will be filled with different types of jungle and non-jungle activities, in other words, it’s a day to have fun and to learn and observe new things.
Activities in Chitwan include:
Canoeing & jungle walk or a visit to the elephant breeding center. Lunch is followed by an elephant safari with evening entertainment. Overnight at a Hotel in Chitwan.
After having breakfast, depart from Chitwan to reach Pokhara, which is famously known as "The Lake City" due to the presence of numerous lakes in the city.
During the initial phase of the journey, you will witness subtropical jungles and fertile vegetation of Chitwan. As you proceed towards Pokhara, the landscape transforms, with scenic hills, small settlements, and terraced farms visible.
Once you arrive in Pokhara, you will be greeted with the breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), the five peaks of Annapurna, and many others. Check-in at the hotel and take a break. You can also take a leisurely stroll around Pokhara and enjoy the serene beauty of one of the most picturesque cities of Nepal. Spend the night in Pokhara.
After enjoying your breakfast, your exciting sightseeing tour in Pokhara will commence. You will have the opportunity to visit all the must-see attractions, which include:
Bindhyabasini Temple:
This ancient temple is situated in the center of the religious old bazaar and is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, a manifestation of Shakti. The park grounds surrounding the temple offer a lovely picnic and relaxation area.
Davis Falls:
Also known as Patale Chango, this waterfall is located on the southern flank of the Pokhara valley, where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake plunges down the rock into a deep gorge, creating several potholes.
Gupteshwor Cave:
A revered religious site, the Gupteshwor Cave is located 2 km from Pokhara airport. The entrance is situated across from Devi's Fall, and the cave stretches for almost 3 km, featuring big hall-sized rooms and narrow passages where you have to crawl on all fours.
Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple:
Sitting at an altitude of 800m above sea level, Phewa Lake is the second-largest lake in the kingdom. The Barahi Island Temple located in the middle of the lake is the most important religious monument in Pokhara.
Seti River Gorges:
These gorges, carved by Seti-Gandaki, are one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. The K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool, and Prithivi Highway Bridge near the bus park provide a perfect view of the river's rushing waters and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water.
You will spend the night in Pokhara, a beautiful city offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and the five peaks of Annapurna.
After having breakfast, you will leave Pokhara for your return journey to Kathmandu. As you drive along the riverbanks, you will be able to enjoy stunning views of hills and the typical Nepalese countryside. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you can either take some rest or do some souvenir shopping. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of your journey. You will spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.
