Day 01

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, VimlaIndia tours representative will meet and greet you and transfer you to the hotel. Delhi : It is a city that has been an idyllic symbol of the magnificent past and thriving present of India. It has never failed to amaze its visitors with its beautiful blend of various nationalities, diverse cultures & traditions, heritage of the bygone eras and its modern lifestyle all rolled into one. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 02 Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed with Delhi sightseeing tour with first visit to the Jama Masjid - the largest Mosque in India. Visit Chandni Chowk oldest, biggest bazaar of Old Delhi. Later, walk up to Fatehpuri Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride till Red Fort. Here our driver will meet you, drive past Red Fort (a 17th century historical fort in Delhi) and reach Rajghat, a memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. An eternal flame burns on one side of this memorial.

Visit the Humayun Tomb - first garden-style tomb of India. The main highlight of this tomb, inspired by Persian architecture, is the four garden squares with water passage channels surrounding the tomb. Drive past RashtrapatiBhawan - residence of the President of India and India Gate - an archway built in honor of the soldiers who died in World War I. Visit QutubMinar built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in 1193 to mark the beginning of Muslim rule in India.Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 03 Drive From Delhi to Jaipur (280 Km/6 Hrs)

In the morning, we will travel to Jaipur, also known as the Pink City and the capital of Rajasthan. This city is known for its captivating architecture and design.After check-in at the hotel, we will attend a ceremony at the Birla Mandir, also known as the LakshmiNarayan Temple.

The temple is dedicated to the Hindugoddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu (Narayan).Constructed solely of white marble, it was built in1988 by the B.M. Birla Foundation. We will spend the night in the hotel.

Day 04 Jaipur Sightseeing

After having breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Begin by visiting the Amer Fort, which dates back to the 16th century and is known for its private halls, pavilions, former private chambers of the King, and royal Rajput women. The fort's reflection on the Maota Lake is a breathtaking sight. You can even enjoy a Jeep ride here. Next, explore the City Palace, which includes former private and public chambers, silver vessels, courtyards, gateways, private chambers of the King, and more.

Afterward, head to the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that boasts the world's largest sundial, the Samrat Yantra. Don't miss the chance to visit the Hawa Mahal, a five-story palace constructed in 1799 during Rajput rule, famous for its intricately-designed 953 windows adorned with stunning latticework. In the afternoon, feel free to explore the famous markets of textiles, gems, carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place to purchase souvenirs. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 05 Jaipur - Agra via Fatehpur Sikri [260 Km/approx. 6 Hrs]

After breakfast, embark on a drive to Agra, making a stop en route to visit Fatehpur Sikri, a historic town built by Emperor Akbar, the third Mughal ruler of India in the 16th century.

This town offers a glimpse into the grandeur of Mughal architecture and the luxurious lifestyle of the Mughal dynasty, even though it was a short-lived capital. Some of the stunning monuments built during the reign of Mughals in India can be found here, and the Buland Darwaza, which is said to be the highest gateway in the world, is one of the major attractions.

Continue the drive to Agra and check-in at the hotel upon arrival. Located on the right banks of the River Yamuna, Agra boasts a glorious past created by warriors as skilled in art and architecture as they were on the battlefield. Although the city's historical origins before the Mughal conquest are not well-documented, it was practically founded by the Mughal Emperor Babur. Agra is a pilgrimage site for art lovers and travelers seeking the wonders of India, with its shrines being the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Agra.

Day 06 Agra to Delhi [220 Km/approx. 4 Hrs]

Start your day early with a visit to the Taj Mahal, a magnificent symbol of true love, dedication, hard work, and purity located on the banks of the River Yamuna. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then check out and head to the Agra Fort, an imposing structure built during the Mughal rule. This walled city includes various mosques, private chambers of the King, and Zenanas (private chambers of royal women), among other attractions. Afterward, drive to Delhi and check-in at the hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Delhi.

Day 07 Delhi - Amritsar by Train Swarnashatabdi [07:20 a.m/13:40 P.m]

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before being transferred to the railway station to board a train to Amritsar. This beautiful city, whose name means "Pool of Nectar," was founded in 1579 by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Guru of the Sikh religion. He settled down beside a pool that was said to have miraculous healing powers.

His son, Guru Arjun Dev, built a temple within the pool, which was later encrusted with pure gold leaf by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Upon arrival in Amritsar, our representative from Gets Holidays will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to your hotel. After relaxing for a bit, you will witness the famous Wagah Border Ceremony, which takes place in a village near a road border crossing, goods transit terminal, and a railway station between Pakistan and India.

This ceremony, which happens at the border gate two hours before sunset each day, is particularly known for its elaborate flag ceremony conducted by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers (PR). You will spend the night at a hotel in Amritsar.

Day 08 Amritsar Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin the Amritsar sightseeing tour with a visit to the Shree Durgiana Temple, which dates back to the 16th century and is mainly dedicated to Goddess Durga, the goddess of wealth. Next, visit the Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial that commemorates the tragic event of the Amritsar Massacre in 1919. Explore the Rambagh Gardens, which house the summer palace of Ranjit Singh, the founder of the Sikh Empire, in the center.

Now, the palace serves as a museum dedicated to Ranjit Singh, displaying the history of the Sikh Empire, paintings, armory, coins, manuscripts related to Ranjit Singh and more.

Visit the Gurudwara Shaheed Ganj Sahib, a Sikh temple dedicated to the martyr Baba Deep Singh Ji. Then, head to the Gurdwara Baba Atal Sahib, a nine-story building adorned with spectacular architecture, located south of the Golden Temple, which houses the remains of the son of Hargobind, the sixth Guru of the Sikhs.

Day 09 Amritsar Departure

Breakfast at the hotel.Later, check-out at the hotel and our company representative will transfer you to the Airport to board your flight back home.
