Arriving in Kathmandu , you will be welcomed by the Vimla India tours Representative who will take you to your hotel. He will brief you about the tour and handover the travel documents. Rest of the night in the hotel.
At 5:40 am, start your day with an early morning drive to the domestic airport for a Scenic Mountain Flight. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will last for one hour as you soar over the eastern Himalayan range of Nepal and witness the awe-inspiring beauty of Mount Everest, extending up to Mt. Makalu and returning back in a circle of high mountains.
After a satisfying breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour with a private vehicle and a knowledgeable tour guide. Our first stop will be the Swyambunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, situated on a hillock on the western side of the valley. From the top, you can enjoy a stunning view of the valley. Countless monkeys reside on the premises, earning it the nickname of the Monkey Temple.
Next, we will visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu, it is dedicated to the god Shiva.
We will then proceed to the Boudhanath Stupa, a 2500-year-old Buddhist stupa built in the 5th century with four pairs of Lord Buddha's eyes in four cardinal directions. It serves as a symbol of watchfulness over the people and their actions. You will witness Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims circumambulating the stupa and spinning the prayer wheels.
Our final stop will be the Patan Durbar Square, located in the heart of the city of Lalitpur. It showcases the Newari architecture that reached its peak during the reign of the Malla kings, who were great patrons of the arts and builders.
After a full day of sightseeing, enjoy an overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will catch a flight to Lumbini. Upon arrival, a hotel representative will greet you and provide you with a schedule of activities for your stay in Lumbini. Take some time to rest before going on an evening walk around the city. You will spend the night at your hotel in Lumbini.
Following breakfast, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Lumbini, visiting essential landmarks such as the Lumbini grove, Ashok pillar, Mayadevi temple, and various monasteries constructed by different countries. In the afternoon, you will take a flight to Chitwan where a hotel representative will provide you with a detailed schedule of activities for the duration of your stay.
In Chitwan, you will have the opportunity to visit a Tharu village and the park visitor center, witness a sunset view from the Rapti River, and attend a cultural program accompanied by dinner. You will spend the night at a hotel in Chitwan.
On this day, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of exciting jungle and non-jungle activities. These activities in Chitwan will include options such as canoeing and jungle walks, as well as a visit to the elephant breeding center.
Following lunch, you will have the chance to participate in an elephant safari, and in the evening, there will be entertaining cultural programs for you to enjoy. Afterward, you will retire to your accommodations at the hotel in Chitwan for the night.
After breakfast, leave Chitwan for Pokhara (known as The Lake City owing to a large number of lakes in the city). The road first passes through the subtropical jungles and fertile vegetation in Chitwan. As you leave Chitwan, the landscape changes.
You will see hills, small settlements and terraced farms. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city, you are rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. Check in to the hotel and take a rest. You may also stroll in the streets of Pokhara and just enjoy being in one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal.Overnight in Pokhara.
After breakfast, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Pokhara, visiting some of its most famous attractions including:
- Bindhyabasini Temple: Located in the center of the religious old bazaar, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, a manifestation of Shakti. The park grounds surrounding the temple make for a great picnic and relaxation spot.
- Davis Falls: Also known as Patale Chango, this waterfall is situated in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley where a stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down into a deep gorge, creating several potholes.
- Gupteshwor Cave: This revered cave is located 2 km from Pokhara airport, across from Devi’s fall. The cave is almost 3 km long with big hall-sized rooms and passages where visitors must crawl on all fours.
- Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple: This lake, situated at an altitude of 800m above sea level, is the second-largest lake in the kingdom. The Barahi Island Temple, located in the middle of the lake, is the most important religious monument in Pokhara.
- Seti River Gorges: Carved by Seti-Gandaki, this is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. Visitors can witness the river’s turbulent rush and the deep gorge it has created by viewing from K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool, or Prithivi Highway Bridge near the bus park.
You will spend the night in Pokhara.
After breakfast, you will take a flight back to Kathmandu. The flight provides stunning views of the Himalayas, including the Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang ranges. Once back in Kathmandu, you will have the afternoon and evening to explore the streets and indulge in some last-minute shopping. Later, you will have a farewell dinner at your hotel. If you wish, you can extend your trip to include activities such as a rafting adventure, a shopping tour of the Kathmandu valley, mountain biking, and more. You will spend the night in Kathmandu.
After a few days of fun and excitement, the day to bid farewell has arrived. Our representatives will escort you to the Tribhuvan International Airport as per your flight time.
